At SimpleK12 we are dedicated to helping educators, just like you, inspire students and engage learners using the new skills and new ideas found within Teacher Learning Community. We created over 500 webinars last year and now have 950 on-demand webinars for you to watch anytime and anywhere.
The Google and Mobile Learning categories were growing so large from all the new content we created in 2016 that it was starting to make some webinars a little difficult to find.
On-Demand Webinar Organization Changes
So to better serve you, our loyal Teacher Learning Community members, we made a few of changes to the organization of two categories inside the on-demand catalog.
The Google category is split into three categories that will surely make it easier for you to discover exactly what you want to learn. The new categories are “Google Basics”, “Google Intermediate”, and “Google Chromebooks”.
The Mobile Learning category now has a more focused set of webinars since we moved a few, like the Google Chromebooks webinars, into more precise categories to improve search results.
These changes will be effective on Thursday January 5th, 2017.
Impacts to your membership license
We made sure these changes only have positive effects for everyone. If your membership license included access to the Google category in 2016 you now have access to the three new Google categories. If your membership license included access to the Mobile Learning category in 2016 you still retain access to all of the webinars that were listed in Mobile Learning on 12/31/2016.
